Immigration Lawyer Chicago/ Resources/ Video Library/ A. Ross Cassingham
Eleven days after being sworn in as an Illinois attorney, I argued a case before the 7th circuit that made some changes to how non-citizens are notified of their removal proceedings, and because of that, basically, several hundred to several thousand people had their removal cases thrown out.
I like fighting for people. I like that the stakes are not financial–right? That there really is something personal involved for everybody. I just get to fight the government all day, every day. It’s kind of fun! You just get paid to fight the good fight. Kind of awesome.
My name is Ross Cassingham, and I’m an associate attorney at Scott D. Pollock & Associates.
