Ms. Bruen has over 10 years of experience practicing immigration law.  She joined the firm in 2007 and graduated cum laude from DePaul College of Law and cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.

Ms. Bruen was a staff attorney and clinical instructor for the DePaul College of Law Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic in Chicago. She was previously a judicial law clerk at the Executive Office of Immigration Review and case manager / legal coordinator for the Marjorie Kovler Center for the Treatment of Survivors and Torture. She has served as chair of the Immigration & Nationality Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and the Asylum Office and Executive Office of Immigration Review Liaison Committees for the American Immigration Lawyers Associations Chicago Chapter.  She was recognized as an Illinois Rising Star in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
