Ms. Murdoch has over 9 years of experience practicing immigration law and joined the firm in 2007. She concentrates her practice in employment-based immigration, federal court practice, and family-based immigration.

video Christina Murdoch headshotShe graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, where she was an articles editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law. From 2005-07, she was employed as a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where she worked on numerous immigration and other appellate matters. While in law school, she also worked for the regional office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Washington, D.C. She received her A.B. degree with honors in English literature from the University of Chicago.

Ms. Murdoch has served as Co-Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Chicago Chapter Litigation Committee as well as a member of the AILA National Amicus Committee.

In November 2010, Ms. Murdoch published an article in the CBA Record, a publication of the Chicago Bar Association, titled The Danger of Motor-Voter Laws.
